'AFTER EIGHT MOVES I'VE FOUND MY SANCTUARY'

I’M A CELEB STAR NICOLA MCLEAN HAS FINALLY FOUND HOME HAPPINESS WITH THE BEDROOM OF HER DREAMS. IT CERTAINLY BEATS A JUNGLE HAMMOCK! By Gemma Calvert

No more jungle slumming for Nicola

They say moving house can be one of the most stressful experiences of your life. But Nicola McLean is an expert.

She's lived in three homes in Swansea, as well as properties in Buckinghamshire, Leeds, Kent and West London in four years, often following the career of her footballer fiancé Tom Williams, 28.

The couple and their two-year-old son Rocky have just unpacked again at their four-bedroom house in Peterborough, where midfielder Tom now plays.

And, to heap on the pressure, they moved in the day after I'm A Celeb star Nicola, 25, returned from the Aussie jungle. But despite feeling a bit frazzled, the glamour model turned TV star found one silver lining – wallpaper.

"I'm obsessed with it," she confesses. "I'm so glad it came back into fashion. I can't bear magnolia and love bold colours. Tommy and I always pick new-build properties because there's nothing better than choosing the carpets and wallpaper – we're decorating addicts!"

After 18 days sleeping in a hammock for I'm A Celebrity, it's no surprise Nicola's favourite room is her bedroom (complete with chocolate brown wallpaper).

"It's my sanctuary. I especially love my bed because it's got a memory mattress which remembers body shape. My 32G boobs are so big I always used to wake up with a sore back, but not now," says Nicola.

As well as giving each home a new look – her hallway is lime green – Nicola uses each move to clear out her wardrobe... so she gets a new look too.

NICOLA'S STYLE TIPS

•Don't be scared to experiment with colour on your walls. Why stick to magnolia?

•Get rid of belongings you don't need. A tidy home beats being surrounded by stuff you've hoarded.

•Make sure the colours you use go with each other – my green hall complements the browns in the lounge and bedroom.
